Old Yeller

Say hello to the best dog story out there. It might be sad, but I guess, say hello to Old Yeller written by Fred Gipson.

There are some funny characters in there. The best ones are Little Arliss and Travis, who is Little Arliss's awesome brother. He is also the one who makes the decisions while dad is gone on other business. And most of all, Old Yeller, the dog that changes Travis's life forever. A sad thing that is in this amazing book is how they find poor little Yeller. But there is a very big problem that they have?

And I guess you'll have to read to find out.

I really love this book because it's full of humor, even though the end is really sad. Also, I really like the character Little Arliss because of how he acts and the fact that you never know what Arliss is going to do next.

I bet you would laugh your pants off when you hear what Little Arliss does in the drinking water. He takes his clothes off and dances around in it.

It's a completely unpredictable book because one thing will happen, then out of the blues, something else will happen. It's really a fun book to read, you should try it. I recommend this book because of all the humor and the characters. I mean, almost all the character change throughout the book. When I read this book, I feel like I'm really in it. The characters are probably what makes the book interesting.
