In this story, there was a peddler and some monkeys. It takes place outside near a town. One day, the peddler tried to sell a lot of caps. He didn't sell any caps. The peddler was really tired, so he found a tree. He sat next to it and fell asleep.

While he was sleeping, the monkeys took his caps off his head. The peddler woke up. Then, the peddler looked up in the tree and the monkeys had the caps. Read on to see what happens to the peddler.

My favorite part was when the monkeys took the caps. I like it because it was funny. I like it when the monkeys were copying the peddler.

When I read the book I felt sad. I felt sad because the monkeys took the caps. I felt bad for the peddler.

My favorite characters are the monkeys, because they are funny. I like them because they copy the peddler. Then, they throw the caps down on the ground.

I recommend this book to second and third graders. Kids who like funny books would like this book.
