Sam Samurai

The boys read the blue book and time-warped into time. They time warped to Japan. A samurai snuck up and tried to chop their heads off but they became friends instead. They went to find the lord. And three girls came and showed them were the lord was. Sam got a tail. They find the book and get home just Sam?s mom did. I liked this book because it has samurais in it.

I think this book is very funny especially when he tried to chop off the samurai's head. It was just the outfit, not a real person. This story reminds me of the time when I pretended to be a samurai. I thought the illustrations were really cool. They helped to bring the story to life. My favorite was the picture of Fred eating noodles with chopsticks. I think it would be hard to eat noodles with chopsticks!

I recommend this book for students ages 7 to 12. They would understand everything that happens
