Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

In this tasty book you will find and interesting story about a land far away called Chewandswallow. The town had food come from the sky and the weather sent soup, meatballs, pancakes, bread and spaghetti. They still had restaurants but they had big holes in the roofs. Soon enough the weather got worse. The food gets so big and so much of it is coming down that the workers that pick up all of the leftover food gave up on their job. Everyone had to move to a new land. They had to get used to buying food now from the supermarket. The author wrote this book with details and a lot of descriptive language. The pictures in this book change from black and white to color drawings.

It was funny when the pancake flew on Henry's head. Our favorite part of this book is when the food became bigger and the town was a mess and food even went to the beach to feed the animals. We felt funny reading this book because food came from the sky and landed on everyones head and they had to catch it with plates and spoons.

We recommend this book to people who like food. It will make you laugh hysterically!
