The Class Election From the Black Lagoon

It all started when Mrs. Green said, "I need two volunteers to run for president of the school." Hubie wanted to run for president and so did Doris. Hubie wanted an assistant to help him get votes. He found one and his name was Eric. Hubie wanted everyone to vote for him and not Doris. So Eric said "the way to do that was to give all the students what they wanted and when they wanted it". Hubie made a speech in front of a lot of people. He said, "If I win the election, kids would be allowed to bring pets to school. Recess would last all day, there would be no homework, and everyone would be on the honor roll. Doris gave all the students ice cream. As it got closer to election day, everyone wondered who would win. Dorris and Hubie put up posters to help them win.

Doris was an interesting character in the book. First, Doris was a copy cat because she followed everything that Hubie did. Next, she was sneaky. She was only nice to people to win their votes. Doris was mean. She thought she was popular and didn't want anyone to be better than she was. Doris was an interesting character in the book because she was a copy cat, sneaky and mean.

I recommend this book to people who like to be in the spotlight. There was a class election to see who was class president. Read my book if you want to see who wins.
