The Amazing Days of Abby Hayes

This book is about a girl named Abby Hayes. She is in fifth grade. Abby has red curly hair. Abby is trying out for a play called Peter Pan. She wants to be Wendy so bad! In the end of the book, there is a happy ending.

The theme of this story is that you don't always get what you want.

My favorite part in this book was when Abby's teacher tells them what role they would be in the play. Abby was my favorite character because I like the way she acts. A unique thing about this book is the author writes in purple for Abby's journal entries.

I recommend this book to people who like little drawings besides the words. I think that both boys and girls should read this book.
