So one day, the dog came back and Marty kept him a secret from everyone. Marty named the dog Shiloh because the dog didn't have a name. Shiloh was good and quiet until one night when Marty heard a yelp and ran up to see Shiloh. Then the trouble started.
I think that this book is very good. I liked reading it and I think my friends liked it too. The book had good descriptions, like "his tail going like a windshield wiper".
I think this book is special because it is not like any other book I have read. It has really good details. I liked the plot because it taught the lesson that something you want is worth working for.
Even though it had no pictures, as I read this book, I could picture it in my head. As I read this book it felt real. When it had sad parts, I felt kind of sad.
I recommend this book to kids in second grade and up. I also recommend this book to people who like adventures.
