Do you like magic, mystery, adventure, and fun? If you do, this book is for you. The book I'm telling about is "THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE". This book's genre is fantasy fiction, and the author is C.S. Lewis. C.S. Lewis uses great similes like "she was as sad as a squirrel with out acorns!" I think the similes make the book better because it seems like your sitting watching what is going on. Peter, the eldest of the four, he is fourteen and he is the leader. I think Peter is brave because he takes on the White Witch. If he were a cheerleader, he would be the captain. Susan, no older than 13, is the bossiest and most straightforward of the four. Edmund, who is 10, is a non-believer. I think he is also a selfish brat because never listens to anyone. Lucy is 7. She is the "I believe what I see, hear, and feel" type. Lucy is the one who finds the magical world of Narnia (through a wardrobe). Lucy is the one who kept coaxing the others to come to Narnia. "Come on guys, come to Narnia!" said Lucy. Narnia, in the beginning of the story it was a cold, winter wonderland. Snow was everywhere. The story takes place in London, England around the 1900's. When the four children step into Narnia there is a war going on. The four fight for Narnia against the White Witch. The kids fight with Aslan the lion that is the true king of Narnia.

The pictures are black and white and I think the pictures add mystery to the story because it makes you think more. Once I tried making my three siblings believe in something and they would not believe. So I showed them what I was talking about so they believed me. It was a lot like Lucy, her siblings, and Narnia. The lesson is to believe in yourself and you can do anything. The author uses cool words and makes it seem like your really there.

I recommend this book to people who love adventure, fun, magic, good VS. evil, and mystery. I recommend this book because it's fun for kids and adults. Once I went to a magical place. It is in a book, THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE.
