Flat Stanley

Stanley got flattened by a bulletin board. Stanley?s brother was jealous because Stanley could slip under doors and he could roll up like wallpaper. He helped his Mom get her ring that had fallen into the storm drain. One morning he heard Mr. and Mrs. Lambchop talking about Mr. O Jay Dart. Stanley helped catch the sneak thieves and Stanley saved the town. Everybody kept calling Stanley names. Stanley?s brother blew him up with a bike pump. Stanley was happy and he had the best day of his life. He had fun with his brother.

I think Flat Stanley is a funny book. I really liked the part when Stanley got flattened by the bulletin board. My favorite character was Mrs. Lambchop because she was funny when she was trying to get Arthur and Stanley to get along. I liked the illustrations in this book because they helped me to understand the story. I like to read books with illustrations.

I recommend flat Stanley because it?s funny. I like the part when he had to be a shepherdess. I think children ages seven to ten would like this book.
