The Haunted Mask

The Haunted Mask by R.L. Stine is a terrifying book. Chuck and Steve put a worm into Carly's sandwich. Carly gets scared and she shrieks. Then, everybody calls her a scaredy-cat. Next, Carly buys a super scary Halloween mask so she can scare Chuck and Steve. But then, Carly's mask doesn't come off. Carly goes to the owner of the Halloween store and asks him how the mask comes off. While she was at the store, the masks in the back chase Carly right out of the store. Will Carly's mask ever come off, and will the masks catch Carly?

This book was magnificent! First of all, this book is very frightening. It has scary parts in every chapter. Also, it has scary characters. The scariest character is the owner of the Halloween store because he is very mysterious and secret. He especially feels that way because the author describes him very well. Second, this book will leave you in suspense. You will never want to put this book down, and you would never know what's around the corner. Another reason is because it's funny. There are funny people, and funny characters. I think the funniest character is Noah. He is funny because he always plays jokes on Carly. I assure you that you will like The Haunted Mask because it's frightening, it will leave you in suspense, and it is funny.

I recommend this book to people who like funny books, scary books, and books that leave you in suspense. Reading the book you will crack up a lot. That's how funny it is. It also has many scary parts. You will scream at the top of your lungs! While you are reading this book you will be held in suspense to find out what happens next. This book is spectacular! Anybody who reads this book will love+ it.
