Winter of the Ice Wizard is about a brother and sister, Jack and Annie, who have to save their magical friends Merlin the Magician and Morgan le Fay. Jack and Annie have to get Merlin's Staff of Strength. They meet their friends, Teddy and Kathleen, to go on the mission. When Jack and Annie got to the Land-Behind-the-Clouds, they found a rocky ice castle. Inside, they found the Ice Wizard with Merlin's Staff of Strength, but Jack and Annie don't know that the Ice Wizard has Merlin's staff. The Ice Wizard told them to get his eyeball back and he would give them Merlin and Morgan. They then had to find the Norns. When they finally found the Norns, they said they traded the Wizard's eyeball with the Frost Giant. They warned Jack and Annie to not stare into the eyes of the Frost Giant. When Jack and Annie got the eye, the two white wolves turned into Morgan and Merlin, but when Jack and Annie gave the Wizard his eye, the Wizard said that it was not Morgan and Merlin. The Ice Wizard said "I will spare you!" Will Jack and Annie escape the clutches of the evil Ice Wizard before he spares them? I enjoyed reading this book because Jack and Annie had to get an eye. I also loved reading this book because the wolves were really people. I also liked reading this book because they had to go to the Frost Giant. This book was awesome!

My favorite part was when Jack and Annie saw the Frost Giant. Also, my favorite part was when the wolves turned into Morgan and Merlin. Another one of my favorite parts was when the Wizard said "I will spare you!" Winter of the Ice Wizard was a fantastic book that has many favorite parts!

The Ice Wizard is an interesting character because he is evil. Another interesting character is the Frost Giant because if you look at him in the eye you freeze. Annie is another interesting character because she is braver than Jack. All the characters in this story are interesting!

I recommend this book to other people because it has action. I also recommend this to other people because it is exciting. Another reason why I recommend this book to other people is because the story is in the winter. This is a great book!
