Esio Trot

Mr. Hoppy lives in a small flat high up in a tall concrete building. Mr. Hoppy is in love with his neighbor, Mrs. Silver, but she is in love with someone else-Alfie, her pet tortoise! Then one day Mr. Hoppy comes up with a brilliant idea to get Mrs. Silver's attention. Read the book to find out what Mr. Hoppy's idea is and if Mrs. Silver falls for his plan.

My favorite part was when Mr. Hoppy lowered the tortoises down to Mrs. Silver's apartment. I liked this part because it was funny.

I like Mr. Hoppy because he was smart and good at building things. For example, he built a long pole to lower the tortoises down to Mrs. Silver's apartment.

The illustrations in this book are black and white. They're a little bit messy and there are a lot of details. I like the illustrations because they are really detailed.

I recommend this book to anybody because it is really funny! It would be a fun book for parents to read to little kids, or big kids to read on their own.
