Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter is a wizard but doesn?t know it. His parents died when he was a baby and he?s been living with his Aunt and Uncle Dursley who pay him no attention and give it all to their oversized son, Dudley, who is selfish and also fat. When one day a letter from somebody that noone in the family knows. After that when Harry is in his room under the stairs in the cupboard, a giant named Hagrid comes and takes him to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

My favorite part was when they had to fight a troll in the school because it?s mostly Harry that fights. Harry?s wand gets stuck in the Troll?s nose and gets covered in snot. There?s also something unique because it has witches and wizards. It?s like other books I?ve read but they only had witches and potions and no wizards. This book is part of a series and it is similar to all the others because it some of the same characters. My favorite character was Harry because he is the main character and he accomplished many things.

I recommend this book to people who like magic from ages nine to grownups. If I was rating this book, I would give it a 8 because I enjoyed all the witchcraft and wizardry.
