Bridge to Terabithia

Did you ever hear of a magical kingdom called Terabithia? You probably have if you have read the book Bridge to Terabithia. You will be entranced by the way the two main characters, Leslie and Jesse, make a magical kingdom out of just imagination and thoughts, and how they make a friendship out of hate. Before Leslie moved to Jesse?s neighborhood, Jesse was a nerdy little kid who drew stupid pictures. Through Leslie?s friendship, Jesse begins to change. Katherine Patterson, the author, does a very good job of impressing the reader and making you want to keep reading. I suggest this book to anyone who is armored against sadness.

In Bridge to Terabithia I like how the main characters used their imagination a lot. My favorite part of the book is when the two main characters go to church on Easter because it was a peaceful part of the story. I thought Leslie (one of the main characters) was very interesting because she was firm and smart. The other main character, Jesse, is a lot like me because we both draw odd pictures. Jesse changes a lot and that was because of Leslie. Jesse went from a nerdy little kid to a better, more thoughtful person.

I recommend this book because it is very interesting. Anyone who loves imagination will love it. You will also find that you can picture the characters exactly how the author wants you to.
