The Reptile Room

This book is about three children whose parents died in a fire. They have to move from relative to relative. Some of their relatives are not very nice to them and have them doing a bunch of chores like cooking, chopping wood, and doing dishes. You will have to read the story to find out what happens to these orphans.

I really like how the author keeps you guessing and you never know what is going to happen next. My favorite part was when they figure out how to get their sister. I also like the baby Sunny because she bites everything. It is pretty funny. The illustrations are very good, even though they are all black and white. The one I like the most shows a tower. This book is part of a series. I am almost finished reading all of them!

I would recommend this book because it is very interesting. I don?t like to read, but I love this series. You will like all the characters. This is a good book for everyone to read.
