Fantastic Mr. Fox

Mr. Fox is a very clever fox. He lives in a den in a hill. He steals from the farmers Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. One day they shot him in the tail, but he got away. So they tried to dig him out, but could not. Then they tried to starve him out. Will he and his family survive? How?

My favorite part of the book was when Mr. Fox had an idea to save them. I recommend this book to people who want to read a short, funny book. It is 90 pages long. The characters are funny and interesting, like the farmer Boggis, an enormously fat chicken farmer who eats three chickens for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And then there's farmer Bunce, a short duck and goose farmer who eats doughnuts with goose livers in them. This diet gave him a tummy ache and a beastly temper. This book also has lots of pictures, but all the pictures except the cover are black and white.
