The boy's name is Dan and he draws a beast, 'cause he calls them scary beasties. The scary beastie sneezes and it makes a boogie man come out of his nose. Dan tries to be nice, but they eat his little red racer car. I have a car like that! Then they ate the t.v. With Dan's pencil the monsters draw their own pencil and run away. Dan draws a six-legged dog and chases them, but they draw a motorcycle, and a castle and a moat. Dan squirts them and makes them go away.
My favorite character is the boogie man, because he's kind of like, yucky! He is a big booger! My favorite part is when he washes away the whole castle and monsters. It is good that Dan wins. I like the drawings because they look like my drawings. I can draw like that! I think everyone would like this book because a little kid wrote it.
