The Little Mermaid

This story is about a mermaid named Ariel. She couldn't go on land even though she fell in love with a human named Eric. She went to a mean octopus lady to see if she could turn her into a human. The octopus turned her into a human, but in return she had to take her voice. In the end she got her voice back and married Eric.

My favorite part of the story is when Ariel got turned into a human and married Eric. I like the fact that they lived happily ever after. I enjoyed the pictures in this story very much. They were very colorful and beautiful to look at! My favorite character was Ariel because she was nice and so beautiful.

I would recommend this book to children who like mermaids and ocean animals. I would also recommend this book to children who like to read love stories.
