You Can't Eat Your Chicken Pox, Amber Brown

In this book, Amber Brown sends letters to her friend Justin. She misses him. She moved and is going to the fourth grade and wishes Justin were there when she starts school. She's also afraid to go to the fourth grade because she's nervous about making new friends.

My favorite part was when Amber Brown won the spelling bee. It helped her feel better about her new school and it took her mind off missing her old friend Justin. My favorite character is Amber Brown. She is very smart just like me. She's also my favorite character because she is good at what she tries. When she does try she usually gets it correct. The illustrations are very good and enjoyable. They are interesting to look at.

I recommend this book to children who like funny fiction books and to children who are moving and need to meet new friends.
