Star Wars Jedi Apprentice: The Fight for Truth

Star Wars: The Fight for Truth is about 2 Jedi masters and their two Padawans. Master Qui-Gon's Padawan is Obi-Wan and Adi Galia's Padawan is Siri. They are on a mission to find and bring to the Jedi Temple a Force-Sensitive child called O-Lana on a planet called Kegan. Their other mission is to connect Kegan to trade with other planets throughout the galaxy. But something goes wrong. Obi-Wan and Siri get trapped in a school where nobody comes back, where they meet and make friends with a boy named V-Davi. This school is where detention is permanent, dissent is forbidden, and thought is dictated. Also, Adi and Qui-Gon get trapped in a web of deception. The Jedust fight for truth... even though nobody wants to face it. But something else goes wrong when O-Lana is kidnapped.

This book is heart pounding and cool. The whole series, #1-18, is all before Star Wars Episode 1. It is similar in one way because they all have Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. This book is different from the rest because it is all about a Jedi named Obi-Wan. But they're all different adventures in his life. I like this book because it has the 2 A's: action and adventure. My favorite part is when the two Padawans find the captured O-Lana in the Relearning Circle(the school where you go if you are being bad in the first school). There they meet their two Masters. That was my favorite part because I always like when people reunite in books. In the beginning of the book, Siri reminded me of this boy named Josh who didn't like team work. When I read this book, I felt excited and ready to go on to the next book.

I recommend this book to boys 3rd-10th grade because it is a 3rd-10th grade reading level. I also recommend it because it is a very cool and interesting adventure. The author catches your attention by using interesting words that make you want to read the next book.
