This book is about a boy named Max. He went to where the wild are because his mom sent him to bed without any dinner. He got there in a private boat. The wild things wanted Max to stay.
He could not because he had to go home to eat dinner.
I like the book because it was scary because they showed their terrible teeth. My favorite part was when he became king of the wild things.
I recommend this book to who everyone who likes monsters. And to people who like to be bad to their mother and who like the sea.
