Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

What if you lived in a cupboard underneath the stairs? Harry Potter does, and his cousin Dudley Dursley gets mad all the time. Uncle Veron is very mean to Harry, but not Dudley. Harry tries to sneak a letter to his cupboard, and then uncle Veron takes the letter out of Harry?s hands. The Dursleys let him have one of the letters. Then Harry read the letter and the letter said Harry needed to go to Hogwarts for an education. Harry now needs to get on the train nine and three quarters. Harry finds the train and gets on. While ridding the train Harry gets gold pieces. Harry meets Ron Weasley and Hermonie Ginger. When Harry gets to Hogwarts he buys his clothes, he waits to be sorted into a group. Ron, Hermoine, and Harry are in the Gyfondor group. If you want to find out if Harry has fun at Hogwarts, you will have to read this book to find out.

This story reminds me of when I used to get pushed around a lot by my friends. This book also reminds me of Harry Potter when he lived with the Dursleys and Harry got bossed around. I liked the book because it had a lot of things going on in it like when Harry rides the train ands goes to the bank. My favorite part was when Harry was riding the train and Harry bought the whole cart of candy using the four golden coins that Hagrid had given to Harry. There was a character that changed and that character was Harry Potter. Harry has changed by learning to stand up for himself and not being bossed around.

I recommend this book because it is a good book and it has a lot of action. The kind of reader that would enjoy this book would be someone that likes Harry Potter and adventure books because Harry does a lot of exploring and action like when Harry is flying on his broom stick.
