Little House on the Prairie

This story is about a family that goes west. When they get there they built a house. There are Indians. A little while after one of the horses has a mule, they get a cow and calf and they grow vegetables. Read the book to find out what happens next!

I liked this book because it has details, like when they made a lock for the door they say how they said how they did it. It is like other books by the same author, like Little House in the Big Woods and on the Banks of Plum Creek, because they have the same characters. My sister liked Jack because he is a dog.

I recommend this book to 3rd Grade and up who read well.
