"In a Dark, Dark Room and other Scary Stories", is about different kinds of stories called; The Teeth, In the Gravy at 12, The Green Ribbon, In a Dark, Dark Room, The Night it Rained, The Pirate, The Ghost of John. Those are some of the stories in the book. My favorite story is the Green Ribbon.

I like this book even though it is an "I Can Read Book - Level One". In one story there is a girl whose head fell off at the end. It was the funniest story. In the picture, she had a greed ribbon around her neck. The picture made the story even funnier.

Yes, I'd recommend this book because it has different kinds of stories in it like "The Green Ribbon". I think they will like this book called "In a Dark, Dark Room".
