Have you ever been woken up by something at night? This book is about a man who cuts off an animals tail. I am not going to tell the ending, but if you want to know why he cut off the animal's tail, read the book.

This book reminded me of the time I had the worst nightmare about a giant who wanted me to die. This book made me feel a little scared. Even though I was scared, I liked the book.

I recommend this book to first through third graders who like scary stories. I also liked the pictures in this story because they matched the story well.
