My book is about rain forest animals. I learned mostly about birds. A toucan's beak looks heavy but it is hollow and light. My favorite bird is the macaw. It lives deep in the rain forest. It has waterproof feathers that are similar to a raincoat.

My favorite part is when I learned about the smallest hummingbird. I like the book very much because it tells about the rain forest and we are learning about the rain forest in class. This book reminds me of the birds we saw during our Birds of the Rain Forest assembly. They are all beautiful.

I recommend you read it because you can learn about some rain forest birds and animals. The pictures are really pretty.
