Yunmi's grandmother, Halmoni, is from Korea. In school Yunmi's class is having a picnic. Yunmi's friends want Halmoni to chaperone. When Yunmi went home, she asked Halmoni if she wanted to help. Halmoni said she would help out.

The day of the picnic Halmoni made some kimbop. Kimbop is made out of rice, carrots, eggs, green vegetables, and seaweed.

My favorite part was when Halmoni chaperoned the picnic. I liked the illustrations. They are really good.

My favorite character is Halmoni because she is the main character. Halmoni is in almost every part of this book.

I recommend this book to kids in second to fourth grades. People who like to learn about different cultures would like this book.
