Sylvester and the Magic Pebble

This book is a story about a donkey and his family. One day he finds a magic pebble and gets into a lot of trouble with it. He sees a lion and wishes he was a rock and his wish comes true! He is stuck being a rock for a very long time and that makes him sad.

I think that Sylvester learned that it is not fun to be a rock because you just have to sit there. This book is funny and sad and happy. My favorite part was when he got scared because he saw a lion and then he turned into a rock.

I would tell my friends to read this book because it has good pictures and a happy ending. Anyone who likes stories about magic and animals will like this book.
