The View From Saturday

This book is about a group of gifted kids who are chosen by their teacher, Mrs. Olinski, to participate in the Academic Bowl. All members of the team are 6th graders. No one thinks that they will beat the other two 6th grade teams. Surprisingly, they beat the other teams and win themselves a trip to the state finals.

That great team called themselves ?The Souls?. Only one question stood in their way. Did they have ?the souls? to beat the 7th grade teams and win the state finals for the first time in history.

I really enjoyed this book. It was very exciting and interesting, especially when they were asking questions during the Academic Bowl! I liked trying to guess the answers.

I recommend that you read this book because it taught me some things I didn?t know. If you read this book, I?m sure you will agree.
