The Skull of Truth

"You liar, you cheater, you sleezy wart," Charlie Eggleston is running for his life from a bully for saying the truth about his dad. He ends up in an old Magic Supply Store and takes a skull. Of all his life of lies he had never stolen anything. He thinks about what he will do with it. Then he realizes that in his hands is a real human skull. He learns a few lessons with this skull and his life is changed.

I found Charlie interesting yet bad. I think this because though he lies a lot, he is interested in thing such as magic and nature that might be disgusting to other people. I think Charlie was changed by the skull to respect the truth. This book is unique because it is exciting, humorous, and frightening at the same time.

I recommend this book because it is very thrilling. All readers from about age 9 to about age 12 would like this book. Readers might be interested in this book by how people can change from liars to very nice and intelligent people.
