The Austere Academy

Have you had such bad luck? Well, there are three children who are looking for good fortunes. Violet is 14, she loves to invent things and she is the oldest. Sunny is a baby and she loves to chew on hard things. Klaus is about 10 and likes to read books. Their parents died in a fire in their mansion. Mr. Poe is a banker who is in charge of the three children's affairs. He takes them to a boarding school called Prufrock Prepratory School. They meet two other orphans who are twins but really they are triplets. Their names are Isabel and Duncan. The new coach at their school looks weird. Violet, Klaus and Sunny are trying to figure out who the coach is. They think it is Count Olaf. Who is Count Olaf? Find out what happens in the book The Austere Academy.

The Austere Academy is part of a series called A Series of Unfortunate Events. The Austere Academy is like no other book I've read in the past. This book is filled with sadness and woe. In the beginning it's happy and towards the middle, it gets sad and miserable. This book made me feel sorry and very sad. I felt sad because the 3 children had to eat and drink without a cup and silverware.

I thought the book was great because it had words I didn't get but it told what they meant inside. I loved the book because it had adventure and some sad parts in-between.

I recommend this book because it's enjoyable, exciting and you can't put this book down. I recommend this book for people who like sad stories and for 8 years to adults. So if you like sad stories go check this book or one of the others in the series!
