A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning

Have you ever read this book or series? Let me tell you a bit about it. One day Mr. Poe came to the three Baudelaire children and said some bad news. What was the bad news? Read this book to find out what it was. Who is the terrible man Count Olaf that the Baudelaire children were stuck with? This is the genre of fantasy.

I liked this book because there were many interesting parts, but it was extremely unique how Count Olaf had an eye tattoo on his left ankle. When I was reading his book I felt sad, because the Baudelaire parents perished in a terrible fire. Count Olaf changed but only for about one day. He was mean then nice like a dad and then back to mean. I love the story A Series of Unfortunate Events the Bad Beginning.

I would recommend this book to 8 to 11 year olds. It has 162 pages and 13 chapters. You might want to read it because there are exiting parts and sad parts. The genre of this book is fantasy.
