Henry and Mudge and the Long Weekend

Henry and his dog Mudge were bored because it looked ugly outside. Henry’s mom had an idea. Their idea was to make a castle. They didn’t know what kind of castle to make. Henry found the picture of a castle in his book. They ate pizza while they were building. They used cardboard, crayons, scissors and a stapler. After that, they said it looked great.

I think this book is like Absolutely Lucy because they are both books about boys and their dogs. I think this book is funny. One example of this is when they made fun of the months. I like Henry and Mudge because the do fun and creative things in the book.

I recommend this book because it is funny. Henry’s father was making fun of the months, “winter grumpies”. I recommend this book to kids who like Henry and Mudge books. If you like creative books, you will like this one. Henry and Mudge build a castle out of different materials. It was so creative!
