Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night

Henry is a kid who that has a dog named Mudge. They went to Big Bear Island. Henry and Mudge found a lot of things, even a rainbow. Finally, they found a good place to camp. They unpacked everything then they lied down and saw the stars. Finally, Henry’s dad sang one more happy song as they fell asleep.

This book is great to read. My favorite part of this book is when they saw a rainbow and animals at Big Bear Lake. I liked seeing the picture of the rainbow. I liked the songs that Henry sang with his family. I read the song, and I sang the song. I think Henry is a nice boy because he really loves his dog named Mudge.

I recommend this book because it was one of the greatest books I have read. The author did a great job describing what was happening. I was able to see the story in my mind. I think that this book will be good for 6-8 year olds because it is a chapter book. It will be good practice for reading chapter books.
