Dear Dumb Diary, Let's Pretend this Never Happened

Ten-year-old Jamie Kelly is jealous of her best friend Angeline because of her long blond locks. Angeline is the coolest and prettiest girl at school. Until one day, the best day of Jamie’s life happened! Angeline’s hair is tangled in her key chains. Will Angeline still be the coolest girls at school? Take a peek inside to find out.

I thought this book was mischievous and funny! It was funny because Angeline found out that her giant lip balm was a deodorant stick! My favorite part of the book is when Jamie made her dog eat and tear Angeline’s homework. I thought it was funny because it made me laugh. Jamie reminded me of when I wanted to get highlights in my hair but my mom said no. Jamie tried to convince her mom to dye her hair like Angeline’s.

I recommend this book for second grade to fourth grade. I believe it might be a little too hard for first and kindergarten. However, if you like getting a laugh then this book is for you! If you feel like getting like getting Dear Dumb Diary book then go to the library.
