Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter is a boy who lives with his aunt, uncle, and Cousin Dudley. They treat him poorly until Hagrid comes to his rescue. He tells Harry that he is a wizard. He also tells Harry that he needs to go to Hogwarts, a witch and wizard school. What happens next? Read the book to find out.

I liked this book because it had a good mystery. Hagrid was interesting because he was half giant. This book is part of a series. All the books have magic but have different plots. I wondered what the mystery would be and what friends he would make.

I think third to fifth graders should read this book because it is a long book with many pages. If you like magic or mysteries these books are right for you. The genre is fantasy and mystery.
