Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a funny chapter book. Greg is the main character. Greg tries all of this old school stuff and makes a mess. The illustrations are sometimes a little funny. In one part of the book someone drops her kid off at school, but the kid holds onto his mom and the wall so that she can’t leave him. The mom gives up and takes the kid back home.

I think that Diary of a Wimpy Kid Old School is awesome because Greg makes people do bad stuff. My favorite part of the book was when Greg and his friend were cutting the limes and Greg gets sprayed in the eye. My favorite character is Greg because he’s the main character. I would have liked it if the illustrations were in color, but they are black and white.

I recommend this book for people grades two and up. You should read the book to see if Greg makes mistakes and to find out if the book is like the old days since it is called Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School.
