The Great Kapok Tree: A Tale of the Amazon Rain Forest illustration will appear here.

The book is about a man who is cutting down a kapok tree in the rain forest. The man was tired and he fell asleep. Animals whispered in the man's ear not to cut down the tree because they live in the tree. The man woke up and was going to cut down the tree. Read and find out what will happen next.

The book was very interesting because it shows a lot of different kinds of rain forest animals. It also had interesting pictures about the kapok tree. They showed the big roots. The tree was surrounded with animals. I liked the man and how he changed his mind at the end of the story.

I think people should read this book because it is interesting and you can learn about the rain forest.
