Because of Winn Dixie

This book is about a girl named India Opal Buloni and a dog named Winn-Dixie. Winn-Dixie got his name from a grocery store. So, this is what happened...Opal went to the store to buy rice, two tomatoes, and some macaroni and cheese, but she come back with a dog instead of all those things. In the middle of this book is when Opal meets Gloria Dump, Otis, Miss Franny Block, and lots of others. When Opal has a party, Winn-Dixie gets lost. Read the book to find out what adventures they go through, and if they find Winn- Dixie.

I like this book because it has a nice title, and because it has a dog in it. I think Opal is like my teacher, Mrs. Schimmelpfennig, because she is nice, and she takes care of animals just like Opal took care of Winn-Dixie. My favorite part is when Opal said that Winn-Dixie was her dog. Even though she might get in trouble, she didn't care because she was rescuing a dog. I am mostly like Opal because she seem like she would be good friend to me. She also takes real good care of Winn-Dixie, and I wish I had a dog to take care of too.

I recommend this book to people that have animals, actually I would recommend this book to anyone. Why? Because this book is about a girl name Opal and her friend, which is a dog named Winn-Dixie, and how they are best friends, and make all kinds of new friends together.
