Dork Diaries

Did you ever go to a new school and have your mom buy you a diary and make you write in it? Well that happened to Nikki Maxwell when she moved to a new school. She got a new crush, a new mean girl, and a new diary.

I thought Rachel Renee Russell did an outstanding job on the illustrations and everything for this book. Because they are cartoon like it makes it easy to read. I thought one of my friends could relate to the story in this book. Also this book would probably be a comic book because it is mostly pictures. The pictures help tell the story, making it a good book. I think it helps make more sense of the story.

I think you should read this book if you like a good laugh, or if you like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. They are just like this book but this book is more for girls. Here are the characters Nikki Maxwell, her best friends Chloe and Zoey and the mean girls. The book is really interesting because there is a lot of bullying and fighting in this book. I recommend it!
