I think this is a fun mystery book because the illustrations are very funny. I like the expressions on the characters’ faces. I also like Max the dog who is invisible like Chip. The only thing you can see is its tail and it looks like a candy wrapper floating! My favorite part was when the friends started getting the creepy notes.

I recommend this book because it is a great book for 3rd and 4th graders. I think it would be good for kids who like mystery books.
