In this story, a little French girl named Madeline lives in an old house in Paris with twelve little girls and Miss Clavel. In the middle of the night, Madeline starts to cry because she had a burst appendix. They take her to the hospital. Read this books to find out what happens!

I like this book because it has pictures of different places, and it makes me feel happy. I think other people should read it! My favorite part was when Madeline saw all her friends in the hospital.

I think second grade girls would love this book because the twelve little girls in the story do everything together.
