Junie B. reminds me of myself because Junie B. doesn’t want a brother. When my mom came home from the hospital, my dad said, “Look at your little teddy sister!” and that got me jealous. My new sister was getting all the attention!!!!! She got my cute little baby clothes. She got my old basinet that had a pink ribbon on it. It was so cute! I think Junie B. must have been disappointed. My favorite part is when Junie B. went to the principal and she asked the principal a question. She said, “How would you like this up your nose you big fat Jim?!!!” Junie B.’s friends are bragging about her brother and her friends are giving Junie B. stuff like a locket and hightops because all of her friends want to see her baby brother first. Junie B. gets sent to the principal’s office. It is funny because she said, “HOW WOULD YOU LIKE THIS UP YOUR NOSE YOU BIG FAT JIM?”
I recommend this book to people who like being a big sister because Junie B. has to work hard to get used to it. This book can help me to learn how to be a big sister.
