Corduroy

This book is about a little brown bear in green overalls that lives in a toy store. He is missing a button on his overalls and goes on an adventure to find it.

I liked when Corduroy went looking for his lost button. He rode on an escalator just like I do!

What I liked best about this book was that the little girl in the story, Lisa, saved up her own money to buy Corduroy even though he was missing a button and didn't look brand new. She loved him just the way he was and I liked that.

This book reminded me that I have been saving money in my piggy bank and I can't wait to save enough money to go and buy a teddy bear like Corduroy at the toy store too.

I think my cousin would like this book because she likes teddy bears and she has a piggy bank just like the little girl Lisa, in the story. Maybe this book will give her an idea of what to buy with all the money she saved too!
