The Not So Jolly Roger

These three guys named Fred, Sam, and Joe went on an adventure and when they found a book they went into time they met a pirate who was looking for a treasure. He had a big ship he shot two of his mates but then when Sam, Joe, and Fred came he locked them under a stair in the ship. Will they get home? Read the book to find out.

This story reminds me of times in my life when we go and hid in the trees. This part of the book was funny. My favorite part of this book is when they went on their adventure, I like going on adventures too.

I recommend this story to third graders on up. Younger kids would have a hard time with some of the words.
