Goosebumps-Night of the Living Dummy II

Have you ever had a live dummy right in your hands? Amy is a ventriloquist. Her old dummy Dennis lost his head, so her dad buys her a new dummy at the pawn shop. She names him Slappy. Amy finds a note inside Slappy’s case. She reads it aloud and all of a sudden Slappy’s eyes turn red and now Slappy is alive! He tries to make Amy and her sister Sara be his slaves. There’s nothing they can do to stop them. Or is there? The author’s style is scary. The lesson is that you should always expect the unexpected because no one would know that a dummy would be alive.

I like this book because it was scary and it made me want to never stop reading. My favorite part was when Slappy went into Sara’s room and spray paints all over the wall and it says Amy, Amy, Amy. If you were there looking at Slappy you would have been pretty scared. My favorite character is Sara because she is an artist.

I would recommend this book because it makes you feel like you’re right there in the story. I would recommend this book to someone who is really into scary stories. It gets interesting when Slappy comes to life!
