Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain

Ki-pat lived in Kapiti Plain. He kept the grass all fresh and green, but one year the rain did not come. He shot at the cloud all heavy with rain…

I think it was an interesting book because I thought it was a real story; especially when Ki-pat shot the bow at the cloud. I liked the hero of the book, Ki-pat, for the reason that he takes care of Kapiti Plain. I felt like I can do everything.

I recommend this book because it rhymes. My little brother and sister might like it. I think my friends will like it because they like picture books. The characters are very interesting because they show emotions. When Ki-pat shot the bow at the cloud, he was angry. So I think the reader might enjoy the characters that show strong emotions.
