Island of the Blue Dolphins

This book is about a girl who lives on an island. The main characters are Karana and Ramo her brother. It is about how they try to survive without parents or adults. Late in the story some sad things happen. I really liked this book. I bet you would too! When I read this book it made me a little sad, but it was still a good book. I was sad because some people died.
There are no pictures in this book. My favorite part is when Karana goes out in her canoe. I liked this part because when you read it it feels like you are in the canoe with her. If you like sad books with a lot of adventure this one is good for you.
