I read the book The Invisible Dog. It is about this girl who wants a dog, but she doesn't have enough money. Her parents used to have a dog, she found the collar and leash so she decided to have an invisible dog. The real question is, is the dog real or pretend? Read the book to find out!
There is one lesson in this book. It is if you want a dog, then ask your parents and if they say no, then you should earn money to buy one yourself.
When I read this book I felt happy in the beginning because everybody was happy. In the middle I felt sad because her parents told her the story about their old dog and how it died. At the end I felt really happy because she got a real dog!
This story reminded me of our old cat. She died when she was thirty years old.
I liked Janie because she was up for anything. She was also kind. She was kind to her friends at school. She was also kind to her friend's hamster.
I recommend this book to kids in 1st-3rd grade. This would be a good book because it's interesting and exciting to read.
