Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People's Ears

This story is about a mosquito who tells a big, big, fat lie. The mosquito's lie went to an iguana, then to a python, then to a rabbit, then to a crow who alarmed a monkey, who killed a baby owlet, then mother owl didn't wake the sun. The night lasted much too long. Then King Lion called a meeting and the whole thing went in reverse except for the very end. Then something happens to the mosquito.

We recommend this book because it's interesting what other folk tales are like from Africa. We recommend this book because it has nice illustrations. And if you like this book, read Why the Sun and the Moon Live in the Sky because the pictures are similar and it's also an African folk tale. And it's the answers people thought to questions before they really knew.
